what made this book worth reading is it was the real stories behind the long running Law & Order TV show (which I don't watch by the way) ...
My cousin found me a copy of this and I got so involved in reading it. I loved reading from Edward's point of view especially since he can hear the thoughts of others and it gives us more of a picture of his family. It's too bad that it's only a partial draft and it left off just as the story was getting good. Only annoying thing became the repetition of dialogue from Twilight. Obviously, it needs to be there, but its a bit annoying to read again.
The Kitchen Witch is a fun, captivating read. The characters draw you in from the beginning and keep hold of your interest throughout the book. The heroine Melody is quirky and amusing while Logan, the hero, tries to do the right thing in a way that is touching and endearing. The supporting characters are also well written, the dialogue is realistic-sounding, and the plot is believable and not forced as is the case with so many romance novels. All in all, it is a very enjoyable story.
