Ganesh Sharma Sharma itibaren Fineveke, Wallis ve Futuna
One of those books you have to read, given that it forms part of the canon for American high school English classes and is considered to be one of the Great American Novel(la). Two days after I've put the book down, I still can't quite pin down how I feel about the book. Nick the narrator isn't the most appealing of characters - nor are the other characters in the novel - Tom, Daisy, Gatsby, Jordan etc - for that matter. At best, they inspire pity. But the Great Gatsby does tackle some interesting themes - the hollowness and illusory nature of the American Dream, the various manifestations of desire, etc.
Not quite as good as Survivor or Fight Club, but just as painfully and fascinatingly descriptive. The bits of plastic models in his feet? Arghh! If you're curious about Palahniuk I'd recommend the other two first, but if you can't get a hold of them or you're looking for more, this is worth reading.
