David Dabronaki Dabronaki itibaren 6005 Escalos de Cima, Portekiz
Yıllar içinde okuduğum en iyi kitaplardan biri - benzersiz, sıcak, şüpheli ve tamamen ilgi çekici. İncelememin tamamını şurada okuyun: http: //bookbybook.blogspot.com/2011/0 ...
The best metaphor I can come up with to describe this book is that reading it must be what entering sobriety is like for an addict in recovery. At first you think you'll never get through it, and then you grow to hope it will never end. And, of course, none of it is what you'd expected. It's a testament to the enormous talent of David Foster Wallace, and also to the near rage-inducing envy it can inspire in other writers (i.e. me).
If nothing else, this book will help you realize that your family is really not that screwed up. It was hard to get into the book at first, because it is just so strange, but once you decide to believe that these characters are worth getting to know, the whole story opens up.
