Excellent Historical Romance
Great book and something for everyone, especially during these times. Bogle has a message we all should think about . . . "What is enough?" In today's times it seems we have lost sight of that question. Bogle gets a little heavy handed at times and self-indulgent, which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. That aside it was still worth the read.
Drama, about a dysfunctional family dealing with Parkinson's and depression. Funny and really sad at the end. Unbelievable author
Arthur Miller has a great way of showing society in a nut shell. I feel like this play was written in answer to those people who threaten to move to Canada. It also had fascinating insights into the importance of the media and the nature of newspaper and the editing that is so driven by what people want, instead of what people need to be informed about. Miller uses clear language that gets his point across. I have been really impressed with his ability to take such a complex problem and express it over so few pages. It's a quick read that will make you think about whether the majority should actually rule and if the alternative might pan out.
