This is a good book. But what makes it an excellent book is the pictures. They coincide with the story. When you read of a picture you turn the page and see it.Which is unusual for an adult read.My experience with pictures in adult books are that they are usually condensed into a middle section of the book for you to look through, almost as an afterthought. But what really puts it over the top is that you find out at the end of this book that the pictures are REAL, salvaged from flea markets and other venues and preserved. That is just amazing and for me made the book excellent.I hope that he comes out with a sequel because there is need for one.
In this book Ronny goes to visit her dad over the summer and she meets Will. When something happems to her dad she is devastated , her life will never be the same.
Oh dear....I have to say I did not connect to this story line. I never give up on a book, if I did, I would have stopped reading by page 50. So, I basically skimmed the book in reading it...only reading the quotes. I could not get myself interested in the plot of this story which consisted of a girl who flees her family to attend an anti vamp "kick their ass" school. Basically, vamps have taken over the world and there are a select few young humans, who go to the school to train, who fight them off and save humanity. One of her classmates is a vamp and pro human and fights with the team and he & the girl fall in love.
